here again
Well, (S), it has been a while, but not quite two months and I'm writing again. You would think with a gravy job like mine, I'd have plenty of time to blog and spill my thoughts and comments onto the ever-so-popular internet, but guess not, huh?? I guess I'll have to work on that for a New Year's Resolution or something. I will take this time, since I've already started, to share some thoughts.
Christmas (and yes it is CHRISTmas and not just the holidays) is here. I've decorated the house, but haven't gotten a tree yet. Hubby and I are supposed to go out tonight and get the tree and then comes the anticipated decorating of the tree. But for some reason, it just doesn't feel like Christmas. Even went to Holiday in the Park at Six Flags this past weekend with mom and neice. The choir at church has been practicing our musical since the beginning of November, so I've been listening to Christmas music since then, you'd think I'd be tired of the season already, but I just can't get into it. I have purchased a few gifts, but I'm no where near being done. Have sent out a few cards to out-of-towners, but haven't done the in-town ones yet. I keep thinking I still have time, but realized there are only 13 days until Christmas Day. Don't know how to get out of this slump and get everything done. It might be that I don't have the extra $ to spend like I am used to and am on a real budget for gifts this year, or maybe that we don't have a packed calendar of Christmas events to go to. I really feel like I'm forgetting or missing something, but I'm not. I hate this Christmas slump. It's the time of year that I should be excited and happy and joyful.
Anyways, until next time.

Ah...I'm sorry to hear that you're in a slump. I'm kinda in a slump too in the respect that I'm ready for this season to be over with. My calander has been over packed to say the least. Hopefully seeing an old friend will bring a little holiday cheer to your heart! See you soon!
I can't wait!!!
